Welcome on arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station of Assam for the Meghalaya Tour. Proceed to Shillong known as “The Scotland of the East’ which is the capital of Meghalaya.
Enroute, to Shillong is the largest man-made lake of Northeast India, known as the “The Umiam Lake”
With meadows that stretch as far as the eye can reach, lovely valleys, spectacular
forests, and small towns lying in between, Mawphanlur is a place of captivating
beauty and a fantastic getaway from the hectic city life. You can take pleasure in
the tranquil setting and the splendor of nature.
A trip to Mawphanlur can be packed with activities. Some of the lakes have
kayaking facilities, and the area is full of sizable boulders where you may
practice your climbing (and stumbling) techniques. If you love taking pictures,
the landscapes make a wonderful backdrop for some candid shots. Hikers will
like Mawphanlur’s tranquil surroundings.
Mawlyngbna is a small village hidden in the beautiful state of
Meghalaya. Located just 19 kilometers from Mawsynram. It is about
78 km from Shillong to the place. The scenic village of Mawlyngbna
is located on a hilltop.
This village offers a lot of adventure activities like trekking,
kayaking, boating, river rafting, river canyoning, cliff jumping and
many more.
Cherrapunjee or Sohra is small town in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya, India. It’s the traditional capital of the ‘Ka Hima Sohra (Khasi Kingdom). Sohra has often been listed as the wettest place on
carth.
But now, nearby Mawsynram holds that distinction. Sohra region is synonymous to waterfalls and caves. The tumbling Nohkalikai Falls and the thundering Seven Sisters Falls. Sohra offers a lot of sightsecing’s
